Got It

I think Tony Snow has finally clarified the Bush Administration's position.

Basically, the Bush Administration has a plan. It's a brilliant plan to bring about Democracy in the Middle East and security and opportunity here at home. However, every time we discover something about what they're actually doing or what's actually happening in places like Iraq, we're told that the more we know about the plan, the less effective the plan will be. In other words, they're very up front with the notion that their plan's effectiveness is directly related to how little we question it. It's a very convenient way to never have to admit that things aren't quite going to plan or that a different plan that has existed for a while and then becomes their plan...well, it was their plan all along too.
