Full-On Brain Dead
I just read through an entire week of blog posts and news articles, catching up from last week. I think I've neglected to mention this, but the drug war roundups will be an every other weekend occurrence from here on out, unless I manage to win the lottery and can stop working.
Also, I missed the pile-on of Right Wing News' John Hawkins' defense of the drug war last week, but Human Events Online now has another piece up. This time it's by Mac Johnson, and it's utterly ridiculous. I'm seriously considering calling in sick tomorrow to do a full gutting of this one. If I understand correctly, Johnson's argument is that irrational behavior undermines Adam Smith's free-market principles, therefore it is necessary to keep drugs illegal so that there's no more irrational behavior. Awesome.
UPDATE: I came into work, but Rob at To The People throws down on it.
