Steve Clemons provides the context of George Soros' controversial quote. Soros is a controversial figure, but there are few others who understand the realities of what's happening in America right now better than he does. Collective delusion resulting from fear is the common thread between many different instances of nationalistic militarism gone too far. Just because Nazi Germany stands out as a particularly horrific outcome does not mean that the comparisons can not be drawn when other nations start down the same preliminary path.
