Can someone please explain to me why it's so great that we have a Democrat in the Governor's mansion and a massive Democratic majority in the state legislature when all they seem to do is come up with more elaborate ways to try to impose morality on us?

OLYMPIA, Wash. - Police would be able to impound the cars of those arrested for patronizing prostitutes under a bill introduced by state Rep. All O'Brien of Mountlake Terrace.

O'Brien is a former police officer who says he's trying to put the biggest impact on johns by taking their property. The cars could be auctioned off with the proceeds going to help law enforcement.

Some cities and counties nationally have similar vehicle impound laws. One in Miami was ruled unconstitutional last month and the city may owe $12 million in refunds.

Between this, the failure of the legislature to strengthen the state's medical marijuana law, and the Governor's outrageous attempt to allow DUI roadblocks, my patience has run out with these clowns. This isn't the Middle fucking Ages. Move us towards a legal and regulated system for marijuana distribution, accept that there are consenting adults who are willing to pay and be paid for sex and make it as safe as possible, and stop trying to drive everyone who has a drink after work into bankruptcy through our DUI laws.
