Looking for Help in the Wrong Place

This is a really sad story. A high school sophomore from Westchester County, New York is busted by his parents for having a joint. The parents, who are Hispanic, decide to alert the school that drugs are being sold there. The school then gives the kid a nine-week suspension, forcing him to miss a whole term. Now his parents are fighting the suspension and wondering why they thought it was a smart idea to alert the school in the first place.

Just a note to any parents out there: you are far better at keeping your kids off of drugs than any single human being who collects a government salary.
