Losing Afghanistan

There is no better illustration for why things are going so badly in Afghanistan than the story of Bashir Noorzai. Noorzai came to the United States willingly because he hoped to be of assistance in rebuilding his country. Instead, it was all a trick to have him arrested for drug trafficking. A judge this week ruled that these actions were legal, and Noorzai will now stand trial.
