5 Years of Carlessness

It was five years ago today that I sold my car and became a full-time bustaker. At the time, I calculated that with the cost of my car, insurance, etc, I would be saving about $4000-$5000 a year. And that was with 2003 gas prices. Dealing with the crackheads on the bus (as was the case on the 66 going downtown yesterday morning) is a much smaller price to pay.
